Travel Assistance
Rental Cars
MD Anderson patients and their travel companions are eligible for auto rental discounts from Alamo Rent-A-Car (in Houston only). Those making reservations should identify themselves as MD Anderson patients or traveling companions and provide the corporate identification number 268452.
Patients can make reservations through their travel agents or by calling Alamo Rent-A-Car at 1-800-732-3232.
Houston Ground Angels
Provides complimentary ground transportation between area airports and the Medical Center for patients traveling to Houston for medical treatment.
Angel Airline Samaritans
Works to ensure that no cancer patient is denied access to distant specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment for lack of a means of long-distance commercial airline transportation. 1-800-296-1217
Lifeline Pilots
Facilitates free transportation for such medical needs as ongoing medical treatments, diagnosis, and follow-up care. 1-800-822-7972
Air Charity Network
